But, is it all real? Listen now!

What Is The Annabelle Doll Story?
Annabelle the 2014 film terrified audiences across the nation. It was a prequel to the Conjuring, but is the Annabelle doll real? The short answer. Yes.
A Raggedy Ann doll Annabelle was believed to be haunted, and now resides in the occult museum of paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Annabelle’s Story Begins in Connecticut
The Warrens took the case from an Episcopal priest from Connecticut.
Two nurses named Lara (Angie) and Deirdre (Donna) were experiencing a lot of activity from a doll.
It was deemed that the doll was demonic and they were in the stage of oppression.
The girls lived together but Lara was engaged to a man named Cal (Lou) and Cal’s experience was perhaps the most drastic or physical.
The doll itself, which is a Raggedy Ann doll, was given to the girls by Deirdre’s mother.
When Ed and Lorraine interviewed the three they were confused because of how the girls talked about the doll. They spoke as if it were alive.
The girls told the Warrens that shortly after Deirdre’s birthday they noticed the doll was moving by itself. First through small gestures like moving its limbs on the bed then it started moving from its place they left it in the morning.
Is Annabelle Alive?
When the nurses noticed that the doll was moving and doing things like kneeling when it physically couldn’t kneel, they also found notes written in children’s handwriting.
The girls told Ed that they note said things like “help us” or “help CAL” but he was fine. These activities didn’t make sense to them.
The notes were written with pencil and parchment. They didn’t have any such thing in their apartment.
In an effort to rule out a prankster they set little things like setting the rug to leave marks if it was someone coming in. But there were never any signs of a prankster. Nothing was left to convince them that it wasn’t Annabelle.
That’s when the three noticed a strange substance on the doll. It had small amounts of blood on it.
The girls got in touch with a medium. The woman came over and did a seance with them.
She said that was a spirit that was fond of the nurses. Its name was Annabelle Higgins. She apparently was a young girl who had lived and died where the apartments were built. “She only wanted to be loved” and asked them if she could “live” in the doll.
Cal on the other had never liked the doll.
He said it was taking advantage of the girls. He never trusted the doll moving by itself he said “I never thought it moving by itself was cute”
One day while Cal was sleeping at the apartment he had a dream that he was attacked by Annabelle.
He described the doll crawling up his body while he was laying there. It got to his neck and put its arms to his neck and all a sudden he couldn’t breathe. He was being strangled by the doll.
He then woke up and let out of breath but physically he was okay.
In addition to this, Cal was actually attacked. Cal and Lara were alone in the apartment when they started to hear noises inside Deidre’s room.
They thought someone had broken in. Cal went to check, Annabelle was in the corner.
Cal went over to the doll to see if that was the thing that made the noise. As he bent he got the feeling someone was behind him. He swung around and no one was there. However, 7 deep scratches appeared on his chest, and blood was all over his shirt. It was a mess.
What Was InhabitingThe Haunted Raggedy Ann Doll?
Ed informed the three that there never was any girl named Annabelle. This was an inhuman spirit or a demon possession.
It did things that were too powerful to be an ordinary human spirit. It got their attention then it got them to talk to it then it got permission to live in the doll to get even closer to them.
The Warrens took Annabelle back to their home. On their way home the doll tried to kill them several times by making their car stall, making the brakes lock up, and causing them to drift.
This happened several times before Ed turned around to the doll that was strapped in the back and threw holy water on it while making the sign of the cross.
Before the doll was in the museum they left it in Ed’s office. Apparently, it started to do the same things it did at the apartment like moving from room to room. It also levitated in front of Ed several times.
The Warrens said that they would even see a black cat around corners and near the doll. That’s when they built Annabelle’s box and it’s been looked up there since.
Personal Experiences With the Annabelle Doll In Real Life
Lorraine recounted a story about a man and woman who visited their museum a few decades ago.
“The tragedy began when the man mockingly banged the glass window of the cabinet where Annabelle is kept. Due to the man’s attitude, the Warrens asked the couple to leave the museum. But upon leaving the place, the couple got involved in a fatal accident that led to the young man’s death. According to the man’s girlfriend, they were joking about the doll when her boyfriend lost control of their bike and “crashed head-on into a tree.”
Annabelle Attacks A Priest
A story from Tony Spara that Ed brought a priest from Heartfield to the museum and while Ed told him about the doll the priest ran up to the doll and threw it across the room and said “God is more powerful than any demon” Ed was stunned because he had just told him not to touch it.
The priest never made it back to his church he ran headfirst while driving home into a semi. He didn’t die but the car was totaled. He said the last thing he remembered before the crash was seeing the doll in his back seat
Marisa from Wicked Horror: her story about how her life turned into a nightmare after seeing Annabel.
Marissa went to go see the doll and the tour from Tony Spara like most. She heard the whole thing about what happened to those that had mocked the doll in the past and not to follow in their footsteps “or else.” She got her photo with the doll and then left. She’d thought she’d left alone, but anything could be further from the truth.
It started at home after dinner. Marissa remembered walking normally but the next thing she knew she had gone down hard and ended up limping for a week.
Marissa moved shortly after this into a new apartment. It seemed to be a normal clean apartment, but she noticed all kinds of bugs gathering in the corners.
It seemed that Marissa had moved into her own horror movie where management only had a can of bug spray as a response for the bugs and that they came from her neighbors.
She was an older woman who only wore a long blue dress. She would also stare at Marissa. When asked why she was staring all the neighbors did was “Cackle.”
The woman was eventually evicted for being so gross but the mess stayed and Marissa was in a new hell.
It started at 3 am. The stomach pain was so intense that Marissa drove herself in a daze to the ER. They ran lots of tests but by the time morning broke she was sent home. No one knew what was wrong.
She was so scared of her own home and the filth that she started to couch surf. She eventually broke the lease and moved in with her sister. Everything was getting better but it wouldn’t last.
Marissa was ill for a few weeks with a terrible cough. No one could diagnose her. No one had a clue. There was no explanation for what was causing her illness.
Maria starts to hear things in her new apartment. She heard a crinkle like a plastic bag. She also thought she heard noises coming from inside the walls.
She thought maybe it was her dog, but that thought vanished when her dog became violently Ill. It was all adding up to her. The mess, the sickness the noises, something was wrong.
After moving, the bugs started coming back. She even put away her horror collection of Funco dolls. She had a lot, but after the hell, she had been living through she didn’t want to see them anymore.
After putting them away she noticed one on the ground. It was her Annabelle mini. Of course, it was. She drove far away and threw it away.
After another encounter with an intruder attempting to break into the apartment, she moved into a new apartment.
Marissa went full decontamination mode after this last apartment. She deleted all the virtual evidence of her night with Annabelle, she even threw away the outfit she had met the doll in. She just needed a total disconnection, an exorcism almost.
