We return to West Virginia for this legend, but instead of Mothman, we are discussing the Flatwoods Monster.

In September of 1952, a group of boys playing football witnessed a pulsing red light fly across the sky and land on a nearby hill.

They ran home to tell their mother what they had seen. Naturally, she was in disbelief, so altogether they went back to the scene of the strange object in the sky. What they witnessed next was something terrifying that they’d never forget.
