Read on to find out more about the spooky inhabitant in the house of the desert. 

Sarai moved into her desert home in 2017 with her mother and sister.  

The house didn’t have the sordid past one typically thinks of when it comes to paranormal events, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t a few oddities. 

Additionally all of the homes sat abandoned until a company purchased them and started selling them cheaper than they should’ve been. 

Sarai’s mom couldn’t pass up such a deal, but Sarai found it odd that the houses had been abandoned. 

However she didn’t know that this deal for their new house would include a brand new family member. 

Shortly after they moved in Sarai and her sister began to have experiences with what appeared to be a little girl. 

The first incident occurred when both the girls were upstairs in their separate rooms. Sarai heard a loud “hello!”  Thinking it was her sister she walked over to her room. 

“What do you want?” They both said in unison. They both stared at each other in shock. 

“You heard that too?” Sarai asked her sister. “I did. I thought it was you.” She said. 

 Both girls ran downstairs to their mom who turned and asked “did you guys need something?”

It was at this moment that the girls knew there was more than just their family in their new home. 

Several months later the girls were hanging out in Sarai’s room. 

The only light in the room was provided by the girls phones as they were enjoying some downtime from the day. 

Suddenly Sarai saw  a shadow out of the corner of her eye. She looked closer and it looked like a little girl running through the room. She looked at her sister, who had headphones on, and she didn’t seem to notice the presence that had just passed through the room. 

Sarai got her sister’s attention and told her what had just happened. 

What her sister said next made the hair on the back of Sarai’s neck stand on end. 

Her sister said that for the past few months as she came down from the third floor there would be a little girl sitting on the steps. 

She said it happened every time. It had gotten to the point that she would just cover her head anytime she came down those steps. 

For a few months things seemed to settle down. The girls didn’t have any more experiences until it seemed as if the spirit settled in Sarai’s room. 

Sarai would get this strange feeling in her room, and it would feel colder than the rest of the house. 

When this feeling, or aura, would happen the lights would begin to flicker and the. Shit off for 30 seconds. 

Then the activity began to pick up again. 

Sarai’s sister was home alone one night. She was in her room when suddenly she heard a terrible bang  the floor above, right above her room. Slightly worried she called Sarai and asked if there was any way she left the pen open to the rabbits. 

“No, but check just in case” Sarai said. After finding that the rabbit pen was secure and none of them had gotten out she became concerned. 

She went back to her room and as soon her door shut the bangs started again. They continued for ten more minutes before fading into silence. 

After this Sarai was walking through her home late at night using her flashlight from her phone.  

Her light in her room was not working and when she entered her room her flashlight began to flicker and then turned off. 

Frightened, she immediately Facetimed her sister and made her stay on with her until the lights came back on several minutes later. 

After this event Sarai still has trouble with her lights in her room but the occurrences have lessened to an extent. 

Sarai and her sister (who was able to most clearly see the girl)  described the girl as looking to be dressed like from the 1900’s nightgown, and about 8 years old with dark hair. 

Their mother has never actually seen the full spirit, but she did see a shadow of a girl. They all would hear the girl too.  

Is the little girl a trapped soul that is trying to make a connection with her house’s new inhabitants? Or is it something more sinister that is looking to harm those who are trespassing?
