Samhain – The Origins of Halloween
To celebrate the spooky season, we traced Halloween back to its Gaelic roots in Samhain, the ancient Irish festival where the veil between worlds supposedly wore thin.
Along the way we got into fairies, the púca and a very unlucky piper, the Dullahan, Stingy Jack and his turnip lantern, and our own worst Halloween stories (plus some Irish accents we’re still sorry about). Then we swung into the chaos of Mischief Night, including the infamous Detroit fires.
